Sony Bravia KDL-EX500 review: Sony Bravia KDL-EX500

Sony Bravia KDL-EX500

Reproduced somewhat deep black levels; accurate color in bright areas; matte screen works well in bright lighting; solid picture adjustment options; streams video via USB.

Dark areas tinged somewhat blue; benefits of 120Hz difficult to discern; some smoothing evident in 1080p/24 processing; fewer picture controls than some competitors.

The Sony KDL-EX500 LCD TV incorporates respectable image quality with essential features at a wallet-friendly price.

Review: Sony KDL- 40EX500

Sony's 1080p powerhouse, the KDL-40EX500, has all the motion-smoothing tech of its pricey brethren, but delivers it in a basic, financial-aid friendly package.

The meat and potatoes TV for the rest of us. Great colors and high-speed motion performance. Ambient light sensor automatically adjusts brightness and contrast. Easy setup out of the box

Speakers lack oomph, bang, crash. Light on advanced features. Completely forgettable remote. 120-Hz video processing can give standard-def video that dreaded soap opera look

Sony KDL-46EX500 LCD HDTV Reviewed - HomeTheaterReview Sony KDL-46EX500 LCD HDTV Reviewed

As a lower-priced model in Sony's 2010 TV lineup, the KDL-46EX500 doesn't offer perks like 240Hz, 3D capability, and BRAVIA Internet Video. This traditional CCFL-backlit LCD does offer a 120Hz refresh rate and a healthy amount of A/V inputs and picture...

Sony KDL-40EX500 Review – 40-inch LCD HDTV

Also Sony KDL-40EX500 is a super energy saver and is qualified with Energy Star 4. No matter what type of lighting conditions you have in the room, you would have no complaint about the picture quality.
