LG LN5400 TV

The LG LN5400 LED TV has a good viewing angle and low input lag. However, its contrast is very low and it suffers from some noticeable motion blur. This TV is more suitable for a bright room due to its poor blacks.

Very good viewing angle. The colors stay true wherever you sit. ; Low input lag. It is great for a gaming TV.

Poor contrast ratio. The blacks will appear gray when you have the lights off. This isn't an issue in a bright room. ; Average amount of motion blur. ; Only two HDMI inputs.

I've been very happy with it

It has an excellent picture and is easy to set up. Has a low footprint on the stand that I have it on, and looks good even when off ; I bought it on sale, so had a great price on it. It arrived quickly and in one piece

Only one quibble. The remote sensor for the remote control unit isn't very powerful or has a narrow field of regard. I have to hold the power button down for a while for it to turn on

Take it from a gamer...

Good TV for the price - you're paying for the hardware specs and not the erroneous features.

Comes with all of the features you'd expect in a top of the line TV but without the bells and whistles. 120hz refresh rate is awesome for watching movies but you won't notice it while gaming unless you have a video card that can render that many...

Not a deal breaker: only two HDMI inputs... This is fine for me because I am only using a single input: My computer

Nice TV

Great TV, happened to catch it on sale and it is my first HDTV. TV failed to power on about 6 months after purchase and LG replaced mobo within a few days of filing a claim.

Not 120Hz

Its a great TV, just know that it is not 120hz, and you will be satisfied if that is all you are after.

Bought this arount Christmas of last year, and have been using it every day since. The TV has a great picture, and a great form. I love how it looks on top of the fireplace, however
