LG Scarlet 42LG61YD

The LG Scarlet 42LG61YD is an exceptional 1080p television with great design, features and a well implemented 100Hz mode. Considering the cost and the improvements over the previous Scarlet, this is definitely a good buy.

Exceptional image quality ; 100Hz TruMotion ; 1080p resolution ; 24p cinema mode ; ISF Calibration modes

Minor sound quality issues ; Light sensor

Conclusion The LG Scarlet 42LG61YD is an improvement on previous Scarlet models. The design and sound quality has been improved and the 100Hz mode is implemented well.

I bought this TV second hand recently and have been very impressed. The picture quality is amazing! It is better than some of the newer TV's in the market at the moment.

Had a small problem with a low buzzing noise on Channel 9. Contacted LG on the Saturday, they came out Monday, upgraded some software and fixed it immediately. Highly recommend

Good price, fantastic picture quality, great service

perfect TV for movies and TV sopies, but for sports it is a little lacking on the noise reduction around fast moving objects.

If you can still find stock available at a good price then seriously consider this panel. I've had mine now for around 6-8 weeks and I couldn't be happier! The picture quality is fantastic, especially the fact that you can calibrate the picture...

I've had mine for about a week now. LG (au) have a great bonus deal at the moment. It's a bargain. Impressive picture for divx to bluray and it has all the latest features. But the audio! A home theatre amp and speakers are a must.

Terrible

Garbage. We had 3 replacement TV's (2 same model one a different LG) and all had same lip sync problems and the different model had sound cutting out problem. Domayne Kotara were difficult to deal with and kept trying to blame us / our reception /...

Slim, swivel stand and was LCD which we wanted for energy use.

Everything else. Had a dreadful lip sync problem so by the end of a movie one voice was coming out of another actors mouth. Sound poor.
