LG Electronics 42LG60 (Scarlet) 42-inch LCD HDTV

This 42-inch HDTV's advanced features, impressive style, and very good image quality come at a cost.

Functional USB port ; Very good image quality

Bottom bezel is disproportionately thick ; Very expensive

Should you be lucky enough to add an LG Scarlet to your living room, you won't be disappointed

LG 47LG60

This 47-inch LCD TV delivers videophile-grade HD picture quality with a good-looking modern design.

Excellent color quality. Very good image contrast. Superb HD video processing. Slick design with swivel stand.

On the expensive side. Some jagged edges visible in SD material. Even the lowest backlight level setting is too bright for dark rooms.

LG's newest 47-inch LCD HDTV offers impressively accurate color and superb picture detail with HD sources. It'll cost you, but this is the best LCD set we've seen.

LG LG60 review: LG LG60

LG LG60

Comprehensive picture adjustments; accurate color after calibration; 120Hz video processing can smooth judder in moving images; matte screen reduces in-room reflections; unique design with prominent hole and red backside.

Relatively expensive; produces a lighter shade of black than competing HDTVs; some artifacts in 120Hz modes; so-so screen uniformity and off-angle viewing; no S-Video inputs; design may elicit mild jeering.

A unique design and best-in-class calibration controls cannot quite make up for the lighter black levels of the LG 47LG60 47-inch flat-panel LCD TV.

The new LG 47LG60 is overall a great HDTV. The price is a little high compared to some competition but on sale or after some price drops, the LG 47LG60 could be a great bargain.

The slim silhouette of the LG 52LG60 complements any home with style. Packed with some cutting edge features, the price tag of around $2,599.00 MSRP, is not surprising.

Embellished with an ultra swivel stand and optional wall mount, the LG 52LG60 is a strong competitor in the 52” LCD space.
