LG 47G2 Review

If you've got to have Google TV built into your television, the G2 is the best one available right now.

Had the G2 bowled us over with excellent picture quality and an only slightly improved Google TV experience or, conversely, had it blown us away with a revolutionary new Google TV interface paired with superior picture quality, we’d be writing a more...

LG Electronics 42PG25

LG Electronics' 42PG25 boasts an attractive price ($1000 as of November 4, 2008) and impressive features. This plasma HDTV produced good-looking images, too, though it struggled a bit with fast-motion video.

Variety of inputs Excellent design

Middling image quality

Though not the fanciest HDTV you can buy, nor the one with the best image quality, the 42PG25 is an attractive set--and its low price enhances its appeal

LG PG20 review: LG PG20

LG PG20

Relatively inexpensive; accurate color temperature after calibration; numerous picture controls including color management system; sleek, attractive styling with hidden speakers; plenty of connectivity with three HDMI and one PC input.

Reproduces a lighter shade of black; less accurate primary colors and color decoding; softer images with PC sources.

Although no slouch especially considering its price, the LG 50PG20 plasma HDTV's picture isn't quite up to that of the best entry-level competition.

LG 47G2

The G2 has hardly any drawbacks, but the Google content is still in its infancy. Right now, it's just a little overpriced.

Still not sure if the G2 is priced fairly? I’d recommend waiting on a price drop.

LG 42PG20 Review – 42-inch Plasma HDTV

Fast action flicks from sports and movies can be enjoyed without any judder effect. This is possible due to 180 Hz effect of Fluid Motion technology. The performance is upgraded by 3 times the actual refresh rate. The picture and sound settings can be...

Listed at $1099 MSRP, LG’s impressive style and design makes it a strong contender with some of the cheaper, lesser known brands in this same size range. Some of those brands appear to offer more features but quality and durability must be taken into...

LG 42PG25 Review – 42-inch Plasma HDTV

The Super Bright Panel with a contrast ratio of 20,000:1 reduces optical glare and provides vivid images without reflection. A quick response speed of 0.001 ms helps display sports and action sequences skillfully and without judder. The Clear Voice...

I have a 47 inch LG plasma HDTV. Had for less than a year. Picture gave out and turning on and off is a stuggle. I hope this does not happen after the warranty is up. love the t.v. but its not perfect.

LG 42PG25

This is a second tier model in LGs 2008/2009 lineup for plasma TVs. So the TV has some budget conscious constraints as our review below will point out. All 2008 LG plasma TVs claim a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and this series plasma has a...

was certainly acceptable but not at all stunning. I have see better definition and color rendition and there is a subtle lack of pop to color information. However, this is a budget plasma TV and therefore is not expected to contain premium processing....

LG 47G2 Google TV

Overall, I am very happy with this tv. Aside from the minor remote concerns, I have been able to adjust this tv to work perfectly for my environment.

This really is an excellent tv. Right out of the box, the picture was great. Within the system menu options are a vast amount of adjustments, offering an ability to change any type of setting that can be desired. In fact, it offers more options than...

While all LG devices seem to have a slight yellow bias, it in no way effects the picture quality. In fact I find that it greatly helps with the washed out whites common on other tvs of this nature. This a very minor issue and should not be a concern...
