LG Infinia 60PK750

LG's 60-inch 60PK750 plasma HDTV is a real looker, but it falls a bit short of the competition in the performance department.

Gorgeous cabinet. Accurate colors. Excellent viewing angles.

Blacks not as dark as with other plasma sets. Not very energy efficient.

LG PK750 review: LG PK750

LG PK750

Competitive price; relatively accurate color; plenty of streaming and interactive features; extensive picture controls; sleek styling with single-plane design and 2-inch-deep panel.

Produces lighter black levels than other plasmas; cannot properly process 1080p/24 content with consistency; exhibits some temporary image retention; fewer apps than many other interactive models.

Though still a bit short in some areas of picture quality, the LG PK750's style, features, and price keep it compelling.

LG 50PK750 50 Inch Television Review

People have been tolling plasma's death knell for what seems like years, but the "other" flat-panel technology is still available from LG, Samsung, and Panasonic. The first 2010 model we've ...

LG 60PK750 50PK750 Plasma HDTV Review - Intro

The LG 60PK750 certainly looks impressive. Its giant screen is comprised of a single piece of plastic. It performed pretty well on our tests, but it wasn't a stellar display in terms of picture quality. What it is, however, is big, and it's a decent...

LG 50PK750 Review

LG Infinia 50PK750 is a product that comes with a fair price attached to it. For the price, image quality is not the best, but it is still good, despite some issues that cannot be overlooked that easily. It does a little worse than its brother, LG...

Extensive entertainment options, Fairly priced, Elegant design

Black levels not as accurate as on other plasma TVs, Image retention issues, Problems when displaying 1080p/24 content

LG 60PK750

Not the greatest performer, but a decent price for a 60-inch set with basic online features

Decent power consumption for a 60-inch plasma; Solid color temperature

Dim peak brightness; Very reflective screen

LG 50PK750

The LG 50PK750 is a decent performer for the money and offers some excellent features, but it's up against very stiff competition.

Excellent image processing ; Powerful array of set-up options ; Capable of three-dimensional pictures ; BigPond Movie downloads

Cabinet rattles ; Blacks look coloured under lights ; Burn-in

LG 50PK750 plasma television review

The LG 50PK750 is a 50in plasma television with a borderless design. It is very attractive and has good picture quality to boot. Overall it's a good panel for a reasonable price.

Four-star energy rating, great image quality once settings are tweaked, swivelling stand

Ultra-glossy screen can have issues with reflections, standard warranty is only 12 months

The LG 50PK750 plasma television is a 50in unit that sits in the middle of the company's 2010 product line-up. It's got great picture quality and doesn't draw too much power -- our only concerns are related to its design and warranty.

Consumer review (cnet.com)

"Satisfied after 3 years until it stopped working."

Lots of advise online to test for problems. For me, I replaced the power supply board ($85 and 30 minutes time) and TV is now working fine.

Satisfied with picture quality and performance until it wouldn't turn on any longer.

Lots of concerns online with repairs required after warranty expires.
