LG CS560 is cheap and ... meh

The LG CS560 series is a relatively cheap LCD TV, but its poor image quality means it cannot compete against other budget TVs.

The ; series offers decent color accuracy and saturation. The TV has a matte screen and bright-room performance is better than the LG LS4600's at half the price.

The TV has terrible black levels and off-axis viewing. The TV suffers from poor uniformity, with large backlight blobs afflicting the upper half of the screen.

The LG CS560 series is a relatively cheap LCD TV, but its poor image quality means that it cannot compete against other budget TVs.

LG 42CS560

You'll make some compromises, but LG's CS560 series of CCFL-backlt LCD HDTVs offer solid overall picture quality with excellent colors at very reasonable prices.

Inexpensive. Accurate colors. Very bright.

Dismal black levels. Only two HDMI ports.

Good not great...

We're using this as a second TV for the den. The picture is good. Not nearly as good as my Samsung but good nonetheless. The sound is a bit tinny as well but all in all, it serves well as a second TV which we don't use as much.

Quite happy with my purchase

Research: I must say I went back and forth about whether to buy a plasma TV at all or if I should be looking at LCOS, DLP or LCD instead. Well after much research (I originally had my heart set on a sony KF50WE610 50" projection TV) it seemed like they...

Great picture (colors, sharpness, tones), good menu interface, decent remote
