Philips PS1964C 19 in TV

 

This review is very late in coming. I bought the TV in 1999 for $195 (plus $27.07 for a service contract) because it had all the features I required; headphone jack, A/V in the back (more convenient to reach the VCR cables to the TV input), sleep timer...

Many features like headphone jack, cc, sleep timer, child lock, on screen message and more.

Color went bad in about 4 years and Smart Sound never worked.

What's so smart about it?

 

Philips Magnavox calls this TV part of its "Smart Series". I don't know why. The TV is okay as far as basic television viewing goes, but it is nothing special.
