Mitsubishi WD-735 review

Today the landscape in the big-screen rear-projection HDTV category is pretty stark. Sony, Panasonic, Hitachi, and others have all exited this product segment, which leaves only Mitsubishi and Samsung to slug it out for the dollars of buyers who want a...

Relatively inexpensive for the screen size; reproduces deep black levels; solid connectivity with three HDMI and three component-video inputs, decent feature package including NetCommand device control; slim bezel creates "all-picture" look.

Inaccurate color; details appeared softer than expected; no PC input; no fine controls for color temperature.

The Mitsubishi WD-65735 offers plenty of screen for the buck, compact styling, and numerous connections, but its picture quality doesn't match that of the competition.

Has a large screen

It may have a short life and the picture isn't really as nice as some other products.

"BAD! BAD! BAD!"

Mitsubishi does not stand behind it's products. I haggled back and forth with someone from another country for days trying to make them understand why a less than two year old tv should not be failing. They eventually paid half of the 900 that it would...

Big screen is great. Picture quality is good when it works.

Replaced lamp twice since 2009. Light engine went out and Mitsubishi played games about replacing it. We were told it would cost $900 to replace! The second lamp went out after 2 days. DON'T BUY THIS TV!!! It's JUNK!

w-60735 waste of money, worst TV I've seen

If your salesman tells you to buy a MITSU leave the store and never ever return

big picture, when bulb is new it's good

after a short time the bulb starts to dim, I have had to replace it once already. Now the DMD chip is going. I've only had the tv 3 years. Never another Mitsubishi.
