This TV is far too expensive and has too many things wrong with it. You can get better TVs with more features for far less money.

Built in HD tuner ; Good sound and picture quality

Extremely slow menu response times ; Remote doesn’t always work ; PIP doesn’t work with digital tuner ; Can't use native resolution with PC ; Expensive

Complete picture failure but continuing sound. Repair quoted at $3000 by NEC for main board replacement. Replace cost full TV only $2000
