Consumer review (newegg.com)

Too much ghosting.

It's good for movies.

Upscales to 1080i pretty nicely. Plays DVDs @ 1080i flawlessly (note: 1080i doesn't seem to work unless I use a dvi2hdmi cable for playing videos on my PC, or using the xbox 360)

Ghosting. All over the place in every single XBox/XBox 360 game. It's worse in 480p than it is in 720 or 1080. I don't know why, but it sure is weird. It's not actually all that bad, but it sure is annoying

very poor customer support

No picture at all, poor packaging, static buildup from packaging could have done the damage. Just not a good company or product. Cannot find any warranty information.

good question

no picture, very slow customer support, have to pay return shipping. I would not buy from this company again, and Newegg should seriously reconsider selling these products

Good for the price - may have problems

My cable remote couldnt program this tv so I needed two remotes. Then I got a Logitech Harmony 550, the Optimus Prime of remotes. All is good now.

Its a great HDTV for the price and really a great picture

Slow remote as others noted. Also, there have been a few times when the screen cuts out and has fuzzy lines all over it while the sound continues. I merely hit the turn it off and then back on and its fine but it makes me nervous that it could be a...

Nice as a Monitor

For what I spent I am VERY happy with this set.

Saw it at a local B&M Store at what was a highly attractive price. Decided to buy it and try as a HUGE computer monitor as this store has a 14 day no questions asked return policy ; I have 2 computers running into this LCD. My old one from a Radeon...

Menus are pretty poor, speakers bland, some Standard Def channels can look pretty bad at times. Slightly oversizes my desktop when used in 1360x768 mode for computer- not a big deal, just be advised. Remote buttons are quirky

OLEVIA 27" State-of-the-Art LCD HDTV W/ ATSC Tuner Inside 527V

Olevia puts out good quality displays. Not great quality, but certainly good enough, and the price can't be beat. I have no real complaints about this TV at all. If I wanted the things I am missing, I would have spent another $300 or so on another...

Price, a good number of inputs, large screen, simultaneous digital and analog tuning

Moderate ghosting is present when scenes have fast movement, no signal strength meter for troubleshooting

Olevia rocks

Excellent picture quality for all my blu-ray movies, ps3 games & hdtv. This is my 1st lcdtv ive owned but compared to ones ive seen in brick & mortar stores this tv beats them all

Changing in between video sources is a bit of a pain, but besides that absolutly none

Works Just Fine

Other than that not much to complain about. You can't go wrong here.

Good TV, Works Great, Ton of features

You need to adjust the visual settings to make the TV look good (factory settings aren't very good)

Great First LCDtv

This TV makes for an amazing first LCDtv for those whom are upgrading from a low-definition tv and especially for those to do not know much about hi-def tv's. The colors are vibrant and crisp and are amazing for those using a next-gen gaming console. I...

VERY slow menu response ; VERY useless menu interface ; WHY do i need to shuffle through 7 source options when only two(2) have equipment attached to them ; The speakers expand the length of the tv to 34.5 inches (88cm) ; The built in speakers have no...

Great sound, Great picture, Great price This tv is amazing i thought this tv would be ok but i actually enjoy it. Great for my Xbox 360

would of been a great TV if it would of had 1080P but for the price 1080i is great and less chance of going blind. LOL

Get it if you can!

An absolutely perfect TV for my broke self.

No dead pixels, no body damage, all cords/remote with it, and wait... its recertified! Olevia did a great job with this

Having to look straight up to plug in certain connections is a pain, but easily overcome
