Great HDTV,Great Value

Ordered on Thurs before long 4th of July weekend, and AIT said it would be delivered here in Alabama over a week later,Friday(free shipping so could not complain)coming from City of Industry in LA,CA. Imagine my suprise when the driver from AIT called...

Did a LOT of research before making this decision ( 9/10 ) ,Compared it to some of the newer models coming out, Olevia was definitely ahead of the curve with this unit when they released in late 2006 $3,995. Lot of the newer HDTV do not have the HQV...

As with most LCDs the Blacks are a lil' dark in SD,but as mentioned in numerous other reviews, the POP of the colors is just about like watching in 3D when in HD. Got an Sony 1080p Upconverter with regular DVD's just absolutely Rocks!. Great sound but...

TV Quality

This TV is heavier than a lot of other same size LCD TV. My 50" Panasonic Plasma is lighter. Remote can be improved but that has always been Olevia's design.

I strictly use this TV to play games and watch some movies. So please keep in-mind that this review is not for regular or HD TV source review ; First of all, TV has good refresh rate and it is well worth for the price. This TV will give you very good...

Can't compete with high end models; however you are paying 50% or less for a very good quality HDTV. There is nothing I will complain about this TV. Olevia has always made good/cheap HDTV. I have owned 3 of them for my computer and video gaming...

Excellent Buy

This was my first major sight unseen electronics purchase from the internet and I must say I could not be happier. The added weight from the extra glass panel is a minor inconvenience when you take into account the ease in cleaning you get from it.

Wonderful picture quality, fantastic universal remote, excellent sound

H-E-A-V-Y. Menus seem a bit awkward at first and take some serious getting used to

Glad for reviews

Hope it holds up but glad newegg is warranting for first year

Awesome picture at least compared to my old Mitsubishi ; SD cannels look real good HD even better I bought the refurb because new egg is warranting it for a year and I Know there service is good

I have had some timing issues but I just switch from cable box to amp to TV to Amp or Vic versa and all is good

Best cheap HDTV out there!

It says I didn't order from newegg, but I did; I just got the refurb model (before they stopped selling it). Why was it $700 off from MSRP? A small scratch on the back of the case. Boo hoo. Refurb is the way to go, folks. Jump on it if you can.

The Realta processor is, almost literally, all that *and* a bag of chips. A lot of my friends have HDTVs, and all the SD channels just SUCK on them. I was afraid the same would be true on my 747i but the SD channels look amazing for what they are. The...

This sucker is HEAVY. It's definitely a two-man lift for this thing. Why? well, the big glass screen doesn't help (not weight-wise, anyway), and the entire TV is encased in a metal box for rigidity. These are good things, but they make it heavy. And...

Simply Amazing

In response to "Not For Home Theater" - The audio and video timing can be adjusted in the menu. There's no need to pass HD audio if you can control the timing.

Has the Mother of ALL video processors. Nice menu. The remote should be what all TVs come with

Heavy

Great TV

Great TV. No complaints.

Great picture, sound and build quality, great price, easy access to many and varied inputs, lots of options and has a great picture out of the box

Heavy - get a sturdy table and be careful if you're wall-mounting it

Best In Class

Newegg shipped me a factory fresh TV in perfect condition. No dead pixels. No software upgrade needed. Newegg has made my year.. Thankyou!!!!!

The 747i is a hidden treasure. The picture and sound quality will make you proud to show it off to friends and family

It's heavy, but who cares... It's built to last

Not for Home Theater

Great stand alone set for the money. Some quirks+panel freezes

Don't try to connect this to a HT system. The biggest problem is the sets inability to pass a Dolby-Digital audio signal from either of it's builtin HD tuners(cable or air). This is not explained in their manual so you won't realize it till too late.It...

Quality

For the price you can't get a better 1080p LCD.

Great picture quality. Playing PS3 on this has been a dream. Watching BR movies on this thing also brings movie night to a whole other level. The build quality on this is really top notch

Its heavier than most LCDs but with that you get a feeling of the build quality
