Panasonic TC-PVT25 review

There's plenty of hype surrounding 3D TV , much of it promulgated by the people at Panasonic, but the main reasons we like the TC-PVT20/25 series so much are contained by the traditional two dimensions. Yes, it beats the one other first-generation...

Superior black-level performance and excellent shadow detail; accurate primary colors in THX mode; great color saturation; effective antireflective screen; reproduces 1080p/24 cadence properly; VieraCast provides access to select Internet services and...

Relatively expensive; last year's Panasonic plasmas lost black-level performance over relatively short periods of time; nonadjustable grayscale in THX mode; some artifacts in 1080p/24 mode; fewer streaming services and apps than the competition; uses...

With both 2D and 3D sources, Panasonic's flagship TC-PVT20/25 series plasma TV delivers outstanding overall picture quality.

Best TV ever

I love this TV. I have 3 flat screens and this one is the best. The only thing that could be better is 4K.

Great TV but only lasted 3.5 years!

TV Should last a minimum of 5 years and preferably 7!

Excellent picture.

3.5 years old and will not power up. 10 red light blinks and pauses.

"Great TV, but be ready for repairs!"

The fan went out in less than 3 years. The Panasonic "concierge" service charged me $10 to tell me what I had just read on the internet about how to trouble shoot the issue (which didn't work by the way). Took it in for repair, and the serviceman said...

Beautiful picture quality with good features.

Had trouble in less than 3 years with the fan going out. Beware of this model!

2 broken sets in 14 months, no support from Panasonic

Based on researching discussion boards and other reviews of this product, Panasonic TVs are prone to problems, moreso than other manufacturers. If you buy a Panasonic TV, buy the extended warrenty at the store, not through Panasonic. Once out of...

While it was working, we enjoyed an amazing picture and size.

Panasonic product support is there to sell you a new TV once your set breaks, not help you fix it. We went through 2 sets in 14 months and are now shopping for a new TV because Panasonic does not offer the part needed for repair of our 2nd set.

ok 3d.No support for skype already loaded by panasonic

if you by 3d and you have issues your are screwed . bought 499 5 yr warranty and it covers nothing related to 3d because most service companies dont handle 3d. 3d is still a nice to have but so little programming not worth the extra cost.

3d works. you tube works. netflix works. skype worked good for 10 months. directv 3d looks good.

skype worked but warranties for panasonic by store and panasonic do not cover software problems forskype No inhouse service for 3D even if you have warranty. Would not buy this tv today. panasonics says call store . store hhgreg says call panasonic.
