Panasonic TC-PVT60 series review:

Panasonic has been top of the picture-quality pile for the past five-plus years, ever since the Pioneer Kuro (now known as the "K-word") bowed out of the frame . Panasonic inherited technology and engineers in Pioneer's shakeup and has been inching...

The Panasonic VT60 produces the second-best picture quality of any TV we've ever reviewed, equal to or better than our in-house Pioneer Kuro reference and surpassed only by the ZT60; exceedingly deep black levels and excellent shadow detail;...

Extremely expensive; worse bright-room picture than that of the Samsung F8500; somewhat humdrum design; camera is limited, and facial recognition is a gimmick.

The Panasonic VT60 has one of the best pictures of any TV we've ever reviewed, and matches the best-ever in dark rooms.

Fantastic picture. Be Christmas price was Incredible.

The VT60 and ZT60 are not going to be available soon and dealers are doubling there prices. It will take a long time for the TV manufactures to produce a affordable TV that has a picture that comes close to the VT60 or ZT60 I am so happy I purchased...

1.Fantastic picture, 2.Fantastic picture, 3.Fantastic picture.

Panasonic's customer service is a joke.

Awesome tv... Got the 65" with zero regret.

If you can find one, buy it.

All of my friends now think their tv sucks. Really amazing picture.

None, yet. You do have to do some picture calibrating, though. Has about 7 picture modes- why can't manufacturers have at least one of them properly calibrated????

Great TV, Terrible Customer support.

Would recommend the tv based on its superior picture but buyer beware if anything is missing from the box. Panasonic doesn't seem to stand behind its products at all.

Picture is great as has been previouisly noted extensively.

Customer service is incredibly frustrating. Noticed right out of the box that this tv was missing the cable clamps that attach to the stand. Customer support giving the runaround on this for over 2 hours on the phone and still no clamps promised.

Spectacular TV.

I was VERY disappionted when my little guy decided to launch his matchbox car through my 50 inch Kuro. Alas, all good things must come to an end. Fortunately, I noticed that this(and the ZT) were the first TV's to match or beat the reference Kuro in...

Blu Ray is stunning. Blacks meet or beat my previous Kuro. Lots of picture configurations

Sound quality is not the best. low definition content doesn't look as good as Kuro. Not as bright.

The Best Picture Quality!

**Background** Previously I have owned a Samsung UN55F8000 55-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Ultra Slim Smart LED HDTV, LG INFINIA 47LE8500 47-Inch 1080p 240 Hz Full LED Slim LCD HDTV with Internet Applications, and Samsung LN46A650 46-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV...

+ Picture quality on the VT60 is absolutely stunning + No clouding, ghosting, spotlighting, etc. to worry about + Easy to set up

- Only 3 HDMI Ports

I'm just a little disappointed CNET! Still No KURO!

Ok, after spending a week researching and reading all the reviews, I really thought I was going to be impressed with the Panasonic Plasma VT-60. Obviously all the people on here aren't replacing a Pioneer Elite Kuro. Luckily the Kuro is still my...

Looks nice, still a great picture, love all the fancy smart stuff! good value!

You can feel the Heat! Picture does not beat the Kuro!

Superb picture!Replaced 42 Plasma Panasonic

Great picture, easy to hook up, no issues with my external sound system, all went like a breeze. I would highly recommend this plasma screen model over LED due to the extreme wide angle viewing area you have with out distortion of color or images.

Plugged the system in and off I went. Easy to set up with my ONKYO 8 speaker system, great built in help system, lots of apps 5 stars at this end.

none at this time

Amazing Pictures.. The Best of the best!

Had this for over a week.. Most the Pros have been covered by all. No doubt its the best TV. I compared this with the Samsung 8000, though that was LED. I thought the Panasonic was a better choice for few reasons.. One. Panasonic allows for more color...
