Panasonic Viera TH-37PX70 37in Plasma TV

Panasonic may have the largest plasma TV on the market, but its small ones are pretty damn good too.

Panasonic has created a great TV in the shape of the TH-37PX70. It may not have Full HD credentials, but the price / performance ratio is staggeringly good. If you’re looking to buy your first HDTV and don't want anything too big, this Viera will...

Panasonic TH-42PX70 review

Viera styling, Panasonic badge kudos, plenty of performance and all for less than a grand – the TH-42PX70 seems an incredible deal

Terrific value and a high-quality set – it’s not Full HD, but at this price, you won’t miss it

Stuff magazine

Most 37in flatscreens are LCDs – but not Panasonic's. The 37PX70 is a plasma and a highly capable one at that

This superb plasma just goes to show it ain't how many pixels you've got, it's what you do with them that counts

Panasonic VIERA TH-42PX70A

The Panasonic VIERA TH-42PX70A is a sturdy all-rounder with superb picture quality and decent styling, only let down by some slight picture noise.

Picture quality ; Style

Not true HD -- only 1024 x 764 resolution ; Sound lacks deep bass ; Only two HDMI inputs

Ultimately, strong HD performance and good overall colour mean this is a good choice if you like movies -- just make sure you attach it to a decent sound system.

Panasonic VIERA TH-50PX70A Review - Plasma TVs

panasonic viera th-50px70a review: The latest generation of plasma televisions has really impressed us, and the Panasonic VIERA TH-50PX70A is an excellent example of plasma's potential.

Good digital HD tuner, Excellent video performance, Lack of image "grain", Stylish looks, 1080p processing allows downscaling to 1080i

Less features than rivals, Black levels also trail, Not suited to "tweakers", Not full 1080p

The latest generation of plasma televisions has really impressed us, and the Panasonic VIERA TH-50PX70A is an excellent example of plasma's potential.

Stunning all round SD and HD performance for the price ..

Stunning all round performance places the TH37PX70 at the top of its class. Handling standard as well as high definition content superbly, this is the best 37in Plasma out there at the time of writing.
