Panasonic Viera TX-32LX500A (32-inch LCD)

The Panasonic Viera TX-32LX500 is an excellent flat panel display for those willing to fork out extra dough for a premium product.

Sleek design ; Deep blacks and whites ; Perfect image geometry and convergence ; 3D-like images ; Sharp and vibrant pictures ; Built-in JPEG viewer ; MPEG-4 recording/playback on SD card

Average sound quality ; Slightly off-key colour decoder ; Pricey

The Viera did an equally good job with standard-resolution TV programs although the picture quality was nowhere close to those from DVDs or PC. The bottleneck here lies in the broadcast quality which leaves much to be desired till the day...

Panasonic Viera TX-32LX500A (32-inch LCD)

I picked this tv up at a bargain basement post christmas price and love it. $1900. Very cheap as the newer tv's are flowing in, but this serves my purpose very well.

"Exceeded Expectations"

I've only had this TV for a couple of days, but I am very impressed with the image quality. Even with a mid-range DVD player the image is crisp and clear. Combined with the panasonic speaker system (SC-HT15) it makes for a really, really good movie...

"great unit"

Have had this lcd tv for 5 weeks and really cannot fault it. Melbourne Cup horse races looked excellent. Friend has new pioneer plasma{$6200}, not as sharp a picture as this. Paid $3200 all up, including LG HD set top box and decent $100 cables from...

"Great so far (with HDSTB)"

Only had it a couple of weeks and couldn't go back to standard TV. Set top box a must (pity it only has integrated analogue tuner). Was worried about sport and fast action DVDs but handles them fine. Viewing angle no worries either. No DVI but HDMI...
