It is not cheap, but when it comes to 3D this plasma television is the best sub-£1,500 set we've seen to date.

Panasonic TX-P42GT20 review

A smaller 3D screen from Panasonic, this 42 inch plasma is a solid all-rounder and a good starter for those wanting to move to 3D

Great specification ; decent picture performance ; 3D images free from crosstalk

2D picture can be bettered ; 3D images lack a little vibrancy and punch

A competent all-rounder; a good shout for those looking to make the leap to 3D

Panasonic TX-P42GT20B review

Panasonic takes 3D plasma to a smaller level, and throws in its first 2D to 3D upscaling

Nearly crosstalk-free 3D pictures ; Good black level response ; Decent 2D to 3D conversion ; Good price for a 3D TV

Contrast not as good as the VT20 series ; One or two colour tone issues ; 3D images lack punch

The jury may still be out on just how badly the public actually wants 3D, but the arrival of a third TV dimension is undoubtedly great news for plasma.

Picture quality is awesome, and the 3d is amazing. Hooked up to panasonic blue ray/surround sound and it all works amazingly well together.

Not brilliant for gaming as there seems to be a slight delay when playing game.
