NO HDCP!

it's plasma, it looks good for the most part

no hdcp, when hdcp becomes more widespread your tv will not be able to use it's hdmi ports you'll be stuck with the regular stuff, also pixel burn in is a serious issue with this tv and my tv has a portion of the pixels turn blue when they get bright,...

42PF9431D: Honest Skinny

I own the Philips 42PF7320A/37, the midrange predecessor to this model, which has the CableCARD support this TV lacks. I feed it a steady diet of HD content of both 720p and 1080i and have not a lick of trouble out of it. Very few TVs of this size...

Not native hi-def

Big screen.

always check the native resolution, if it doesn't have 1980 x 1080, you'll never get good hi def as it will always be downsampled.

It's ok

It's fairly cheep for it's size.

Picture quality is great in my opinion, of course though it's a weak picture for HD still pretty clear, but you notice little pixels in between when watching HD which bothers me.
