Philips 32PFL9432D

 

While the Philips 32PFL9432D is an excellent television in terms of image quality and features, a few annoyances make it less desirable to own than other units on the market.

Excellent image quality. 100Hz mode. Aesthetically pleasing. Integrated HD Tuner.

Annoying connection options. Not localised to Australian market. Features need to be turned off to achieve good SD performance.

While the Philips 32PFL7532D is an excellent television in terms of image quality and features, a few annoyances make it less desirable to own than other units on the market.

Picked this up as an end of line. We were going to buy a different brand, but this was a better deal

Looks great and gives a good picture, Scart connection was good for Foxtel ; Great value for the price

Headphone volume is controled separate from the speaker volume. Has to be adjusted from the menus ; Can be a little fiddley to set up

Brilliant TV

Hooked up to the PS3 it displays 1080P, as specified in the manual

I agree with the main review in respect to SD viewing ; No video output
