Philips 47PFL9732D review: Philips 47PFL9732D

Philips 47PFL9732D

Accurate color temperature after calibration; user-menu fine color temperature controls; 120Hz mode lacks de-judder processing; handsome styling with swivel stand; ample connectivity with three HDMI inputs.

Inaccurate primary and secondary colors; poor off-angle viewing characteristics; awkward menu system.

While a few picture quality issues keep the Philips 47PFL9732D out of the top tier, it's still a solid nonconforming HDTV.

Philips 47PFL9732D LCD HDTV

The Basics: This 47-inch, 1080p model hails from Philips' high-end 2007 line and includes 120Hz technology, which doubles the TV's frame rate from 60 to 120Hz to reduce the appearance of judder and render smoother motion. This TV also includes Philips'...

Amaze your senses and immerse yourself in color !

For the past few months, we started seeing more and more Full HD Plasma and LCD flat panel screens which is when I started getting interested. The idea of a full 1920x1080p display got me really thinking hard of investing in the technology. After ...
