The key to getting the best picture out of this TV, is to watch it with some ambient light in the room, which is the way I like to watch TV. If you like to watch TV in total darkness, you'd be better off going for the Kuro Plasma range. But with a...

Sound quality isn't bad, but I've heard better. This dosen't bother me personally, because when watching a film, I use my external surround sound. Pricey. However for the patient, I'm sure this will drop to nearer the top range Panasonic and sony sets.

Deep blacks, excellent contrast, good sound, excellent connectivity.

Slurring of some intense (especially brown ) images which I understand may be a software issue with image stabilization.
