Pioneer Kuro PDP-LX609A plasma television

The Pioneer Kuro PDP-LX609A is an excellent plasma television that we think will remain the benchmark for a long time to come.

Perfect blacks, Ethernet port, all-round brilliant picture quality, five year warranty, you'll own the last ever Kuro

Painfully expensive, Pioneer's not making any more

We’re sad to say that this is the last Pioneer plasma television for the foreseeable future — and likely the last ever. Pioneer leaves the market on a high note though: the Kuro PDP-LX609A is the best plasma television screen we've seen.

It's the best plasma television we have seen, but the Kuro PDP-LX609A is Pioneer's last.

Pioneer Kuro PDP-LX609A Plasma TV

It’s pretty difficult to see how a TV could be significantly better than the Pioneer Kuro PDP-LX609A. This is a full high-definition plasma TV (1920 by 1080 pixels) with a massive 151.4cm diagonal for its screen. We got to look at the unit well...

Pioneer PDP-LX609A

I just picked up the 50'' at Harvey Normans in QV Melbourne for $4,500.00. It was the display one, but had only been on display for 4 weeks. I am completly over the moon with a price like this.

60" of Glory

Jaw dropping picture ; Amazing for HD sources incl. blu-ray and 360 gaming

SD picture quality varies due to high compression of free to air TV broadcast (not TV's fault)
