Samsung 50" PN50C6500 Plasma HDTV, 1080p

As 50-inch 1080p plasma sets go, the Samsung Series 6500 PN50C6500TF (listed at $1500 on Samsung's site, available for approximately $1200 to $1300 at online stores as of April 10, 2011) delivers all the connected features you could ask for in...

Great connected features and good image quality ; Nice user interface ; Good media playback features

So-so audio ; Very high energy consumption ; No 3D support ; A bit skimpy on inputs

The Samsung Series 6500 PN50C6500TFXZA delivers good image quality and great connected TV features at a reasonable price; but it's an energy hog, has no 3D support, and skimps on inputs.

Samsung PN50C6500 Review – 50-inch Plasma HDTV

If you're searching for a smaller sized 3D SmartTV, this plasma model in Samsung's 6500 line might be just what you're looking for.

Let’s not forget about energy efficiency. Televisions have been under attack lately for the amount of energy many of them waste. But this Samsung line exceeds the Energy 4.0 by approximately over 26% of the minimum requirement. No, this won’t improve...

Samsung PN58C6500 Review – 58-inch Plasma HDTV

Especially intended to give watchers the feeling like they're in a 3D theater, this is a large 58” model in Samsung's 6500 plasma model line.

This set’s energy efficiency is also a factor worth noting. This model exceeds the Energy Star 4.0 standards significantly — at 26% over the minimum requirement. Such eco aspects may not make your picture any better, but if your utility bills get lower...

Samsung PN50C6500 Plasma Review

First we start off with an aesthetically stunning TV model in the C6500. At 1.4" depth and subtle Touch of Color looks this model looks high end through and through. It adds the Samsung Internet Applications and a few other features while forgoing the...

The C6500 presents a much softer picture from standard definition programming such as this scene from the 480i DVD of Fight Club

Spectacular

The price for the 58" (and up) Samsung has not budged as much as other smaller TV sizes, but if you want a serious TV and can afford it this is the way to go.

Fits in a very large room - can watch it from 30+ feet away without any problem. Beautiful color, black levels, and brightness -it outshines my 42" Panny in every way. Price is decent for a showpiece like this. Everyone who walks into the house gasps...

It weighs a ton, but with four lag bots and a good mount the wall will come down before the TV

great TV

After doing research for two days straight, I finally decided on a plasma, this was my first and im pretty happy with it. I actually bought this locally as they beat even all the online prices for me!

provides awesome picture clarity, blurays look amazing on this TV, no strange motion effects like on LCDs, looks great in my living room, I have it mounted on a TV stand

produces a buzz but then again I can only hear it if the sound is off, I think all plasmas buzz, but some louder than others

Excellent

Incredible picture, I\'m no tv geek but I do know when I see a great picture. The blu-ray is phenomenal looking, PS3 looks great as well and plays just fine.

All the connections options I could ever need","Best looking TV out there","Good Remote Control","Great Picture Quality

Poor Sound Quality
