So far, so bad

Big screen, good picture, easy setup

Very heavy. Mine broke after 72 days. No picture, just sound now. It is still under warranty but for $4000 I would like a tv that doesn't need to be repaired after 2 months

Great TV if you know what you want...

This TV is not for beginners. If you are not sure what you are buying, then you should buy a smaller LCD set. This is not an intermediate TV, this is an advanced TV. Plasma TVs have their own sets of caveats that a buyer should be aware of. That being...

Picture is absurdly good! Easily competes with Pioneer Elite plasmas. 1080p is simply gorgeous to look at. Built-in ATSC tuner is typical ultra high-quality Samsung. Ability to playback MP3s and view JPEGs on USB drives a nice feature that I actually...

TV leaves the factory in "Dynamic" picture mode, which is certain to make the image way too bright and contrasted. A simple press or two of the remote's "picture mode" button changes to "Movie" mode, which solves the problem

Love this TV

3999.99 is a GREAT price!!! way to go Newegg for fast shipment and good price!

Awesome Picture, good sound, 3 HDMI is a bonus. Cant beat a plasma at 1080! Fired right up with no issues

Delivery sucked. arrived without a good notice. 1 old man delivered it and he and I struggled with this monster. I dont think he knew how much it weighed or whether he had to bring it inside.. He stayed while I hooked it up and was as amazed as I was....

Great TV... If it worked

Spend a little more and get a Pioneer or Panasonic. No peice of electronics is 100% guaranteed not to break, I would have felt more comfortable owning one of the above.

A fantastic picture, even with all the settings turned low for the first 100 hours. The frame styling is quite nice, is a bit too reflective. All the inputs anyone would need.

I guess the big one is that The TV does not work. After 5 days, I can no longer turn on the TV. Some power relay in the unit keep cycling on and off if I try powering it. So, after only 5 days my $4000+ TV is broken and I am without a TV until Samsung...

Excellent HDTV

I compared a lot of different HDTV's from multiple DLP brands, LCD brands, and Plasma brands. You can get a cheaper Plasma then this one but you will not get all of the technology and improvements this HDTV has. Plasma or LCD is the only way to go and...

Huge screen very sharp looking picture and high end looking HDTV.

none unless Huge is a CON :)

Samsung shocked me..

TV failed in 2.5 weeks with a dark thin line (about 4mm thick) in the middle. Samsung doesn't cover such a defect claiming it is screen burn !!. There is no signal I could put into the system that burns that thin a line (horizontally). But Samsung is...

Bright picture, 3 HDMI ports, easy setup

Low reliability Ultra-poor warranty and customer service

about it

Great tv... I was also considering the Panasonic 65in (750u) and the Pioneer 6010 (60in). I chose the Samsung 63! The Panny is bigger, the Pioneer has better blacks, but the Sammy is a good blend of all. Much cheaper than the Panny, larger than the...

Big (as good as 65" units) - Value (affordable) - Built - in sound is great - Picture Quality - Tons

Heavy - Settings per input (but not video format) - Blacks good, but not Kuro black (like all curr

Consumer review (epinions.com)

The largest I could find without exceeding some incredible pricing.

It is, as you expect, big. My living room is exceptionally large, and the 45 inch Sharp Aquos LCD, although adequate in almost every way, seemed lost in one corner of the room. The solution was simple; buy a larger TV and move the smaller one to the ...

It is large and clear, easy to set up and comes with a base attached.

It is heavy and a little pricey.
