Samsung LE40R51B review

An affordable LCD that delivers excellent pictures

Avoids typical LCD pitfalls ; Superb levels of detail ; Attractive price

Too much noise in standard-def pictures

If standard-def doesn't form part of your TV diet, this Samsung will make for a great choice

Samsung LA23R51B LCD TV

A good quality LCD TV that is HD ready, but you're stuck with analog television unless you get a set top box.

Widescreen. HD ready. Crisp and clear image. Plenty of connectivity options.

Analog tuner only. Cables clutter up the back.

A good quality LCD TV that is HD ready, but you’re stuck with analog television unless you get a set top box.

"Not bad, could be better"

Stylish TV with lots of connectivity

Vey cheep feeling plastic, seems too fragile. Picture not brilliant, Sony 40inch seems lot better. Cheap and confusing remote, weak speakers with little or no bass
