Jason, A DVD is only able to do 480p, unless it is a hd dvd player. I don't know how you have it all set up, but I think you got it jacked up. Try lowering your your settings to 480p and it should fix it. laterz

Samsung is really making great TV's. I'm using this one for a PC monitor and for my Xbox. The resolution is great at 1360 x 768 and is more than plenty for watching movies or gaming

The on/off beep is a little annoying
