very happy with this LCD

 

i plugged in an AppleTV via HDMI and setting it to 1080p looks excellent as well.

all the reviews i read were correct - this tv looks stellar with HD (i have DirecTV) and still excellent on regular SD channels even in a bright room. this also got the best reviews at consumer reports. easy to setup, i didn't need to change any...

the remote doesn't control anything else (no options for that). can't think of anything else bad/annoying after more than 1 month of daily use.

Awesome

 

Very nice colors and vivid picture. Have not messed with settings very much. The DTV looks great. Controller is nice, it even has a light on the remote. Newegg shipped it out and it was delivered safely within 3 days.

Started Good, Can't Resolve Issue

 

After having the TV for two months, it suddenly seems to have slipped into a zoom mode, to the point I can't read subtitles. Resetting to default doesn't work, either.Resetting to default doesn't work, nor does adjusting picture settings with the cable...

Nice picture, easy to use menus, acceptable onboard sound.

Poor documentation and technical support information online or in manual.

Samsung LN32A550 LCDeath TV

 

Perhaps using UPS to ship a TV across country is not such a good idea! No outside packing or protection.

the power cable was provided, good. two packages of power cables and remotes, not so good.

DOA. I mean really dead -- no image whatsoever other than fracture lines backlit by a bluish haze...

Broke in less than two months.

 

Great picture when it worked.

Failed in less than two months. Sound but no video. Waited a week for the repair tech only to find out that the Samsung agent wrote down I get video, but no sound. This is after I explictly corrected her three times that it was the other way around....

Satisfied

 

Bought it for my parents because of the digital switch over and am satisfied with the purchase. I gave 4 instead of 5 eggs because i would like to have see the unit with a lower price. I paid about seven sixty for this.

Great picture, high quality product. 1080p with 3hdmi inputs and a USB port for photos and music

USB Port software for displaying photos has a clunky interface that I could not get to change folders. This made it hard to show my parents the photos I brought to them on a USB stick
