Samsung LNB750 review: Samsung LNB750

Samsung LNB750

Reproduces deep black levels; accurate color, commendable picture uniformity for an LCD; very good dejudder processing; extensive feature set with Yahoo Widgets, network streaming and built-in content; solid connectivity with four HDMI and one PC input.

Somewhat expensive; benefits of 240Hz difficult to discern; dark areas tinged bluer; shiny screen can cause reflections in bright rooms; no S-Video inputs.

The Samsung LNB750 series can't beat the picture quality of the best plasmas and LED-based LCDs, but for a conventional LCD, it's one of the best we've tested.

Samsung LN52B750 LCD HDTV First Impressions Review - Intro

Although much of the attention at the CES show was on Samsung's new range of LED backlight TVs, the company also updated its lineup of LCD HDTVs. We looked at a pre-production unit of the 52-inch version of the Series 7 750 (or, as it's friends call...

It's hard to draw too many conclusions about the LN52B750 without knowing one important thing; price. Samsung didn't release this information, so we can't speculate on if this display offers good value for money. But it does look to have a decent...

Samsung LN52B750 52" LCD TV

Although we aren't a home theater review website, once and a while the opportunity passes where a company will ask us to check out one of their home theater products. When you're searching for reviews on a major purchase like a new TV, it certainly...

Stylish design (as is the same with all the latest Samsung TVs) ; Incorporating the Internet@TV, DLNA and USB media support makes this a great digital media center TV ; 240Hz technology ; Excellent performance ; Great black levels

No swivel base like the 650 series

Overall, from the perspective of a guy who isn't a home theatre junky, rather a computer/gadget junkie, I can say that the Samsung LN52A750 left me very impressed. It's performance was wonderful and the panel did a great job of displaying vivid and...

Simply works

Simpy a great tv that works as you expect it. Cannot really ask for more. I wish they had something better fo cable management, make it go trough the stand or something.

Works ; Light ; Great picture quality. Upgraded firmware as soon as i gave it a connection

It is trying to be "smart" and turns on when i turn on my Samsung DVD player ; UI for the NET stuff lags a bit

Samsung 52" 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV LN52B750

Works well so far, No dead pixel yet. I also looked at the slim LED TV but I heard those overheat too much.

Nice picture, LCD, very good specs

Remote response to pressing is slow... takes a while to get use to all the buttons/features and lad time remote. Specs seems very good, but I haven't tested it fully to what they claim. Needs DVI inputs, only has VGA and HDMI: Should have DVI, VGA, and...

Giant LCD

This Samsung replaced a 25" CRT from RCA. This was purchased just as LED TVs were being released, would consider LED today but am very happy with picture.

Huge screen, bright picture, many input options. Internet interesting but mostly lame, as download ready movie selections increase this will become more than an odd feature

For all of the attention to detail the remote provided with this set is the most remarkable. In any house ankle deep with remotes the Samsung remote will stand out as the worst you own. It is most effective if you reach over to the set and use the...

Must Buy TV

At this price this TV is a must buy and also it is CNETs highest rated non-led lcd tv of 2009

Great picture, no lag while playing xbox 360, great view angles, 240hz is a good feature

the black frame attracts dust and the remote is not very responsive the sound isn't as great as the picture

Great TV, if you get one that works

I'm going to see if the manufacture will repair it, if not I will return it to NewEgg. Over all, very disappointed as my current TV is an older Samsung that works great and looks amazing. I might even go with a complete refund and take my money elsewhere.

When it works, the TV has an absolutely gorgeous picture. Rich, deep colors and blacks, it made just about everything I connected to to it look better. I had satellite, Xbox 360, and PS3 hooked through HDMI and they looked fantastic. I also own a Wii,...

It only worked for 2 days, now it has green and purple lines going up and down through center, sometimes curved upward, of the screen. We've tried everything to fix it, Samsung's only help was to offer to send a service person in "2-3 business days"....
