The Samsung Q80/Q80T QLED is an impressive 4k TV, delivering fantastic picture quality in nearly every type of content. It has a VA panel that can produce deep b...

Displays proper chroma 4:4:4. Excellent out-of-the-box color accuracy. Decent local dimming. Low input lag. Gets bright enough to overcome glare. Variable refresh rate support. Great contrast ratio. Decent viewing angles. Excellent response time....

Corners of the screen appear darker. Stutters when displaying lower frame rate content. Some dirty screen effect. Reported judder issues with cable sports. Local dimming is ineffective in 'Game' mode.

The Samsung Q80T is an impressive all-around TV. It's great for watching movies or other content in the dark thanks to its high contrast ratio, but it also performs well in bright rooms because of its high peak brightness and incredible reflection...

Samsung Q80T QLED TV review

The Samsung Q80T QLED TV combines clever smart features, a powerful Quantum processor and impressive Object Tracking Sound to create one of the most formidable Samsung sets yet.

Rich colors and contrast ; Object Tracking Sound works well ; Impressive 4K upscaling ; Tizen TV is as smart as it gets

No Dolby Vision support

Although the Samsung Q80T QLED 4K TV’s test results are a mixed bag compared to those lower-tier models, the average viewer won’t pick up on the shortfalls. Sure, cinephiles would probably appreciate a set with stronger accuracy, while gamers should...

Review: Samsung Q80T (QE55Q80T) | Record Low Delay Samsung Q80T (QE55Q80T)

Samsung Q80T is packed with features to ensure a great gaming experience.

The Samsung screen has both good contrast, beautiful color reproduction and lightning-fast response, which results in a "smooth" gaming experience.

The Q80T has to do with just one fully compatible HDMI 2.1 input.

We have already ranked the Samsung Q80T as the best all-round screen in its class, so it is gratifying to note that the 55 ”edition also delivers the goods in combination with the latest game consoles. The Samsung screen supports both HDMI 2.1, 4K /...

Samsung Q80T Review: 4K QLED-LCD TV | Full Of Fun At Half The Price Samsung Q80T

Samsung's new QLED TV Samsung Q80T offers lots of equipment and superb picture quality at a reasonable price. Could this be the best TV purchase from Samsung

The Samsung screen serves a sharp and contrast-rich image experience that comes close to the high-end models, at a far more affordable price. An excellent purchase!

The Q80T has to do without fancy features such as No Gap wall mount and One Connect junction box, and the shiny front glass reflects a lot of light.

The Samsung Q80T is emerging as a highly interesting candidate in the premium class: It costs a little more than the budget models, but offers great visual benefits. The Samsung screen is as created to watch demanding movies and series in HDR quality:...

Samsung Q80T (QE65Q80T) review: one of the best 4K gaming TVs

The Samsung Q80T is one of the best TVs for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, bringing high-spec 4K QLED TV features at a lower price than Samsung's flagship sets

Beautiful colours ; Strong brightness and contrast ; Incredible gaming chops ; Fantastic upscaling

No Freeview Play ; No Dolby Vision ; Some blooming from backlight

The Samsung Q80T is a dream for next-gen gaming, and handles movies and TVs with style thanks to its bright screen and top-tier upscaling.

Samsung Q80T QLED TV review

AI-enhanced 4K Quantum image processor Ultra-low image lag Superior OTS sound

No Dolby Vision No Freeview Play Not the prettiest QLED you can buy

Samsung’s premium-priced mid-range QLED barely puts a pedestal wrong, offering vibrant HDR, a forward facing feature set and HD upscaling to die for.

Samsung QE65Q80T 4K HDR TV review

Samsung's QE65Q80T is a high-performance 65in QLED TV that will find plenty of admirers. Also available in 49in, 55in, 75in and 85in screen sizes, it's the cheapest full array local dimming (FALD) backlight TV in the brand's 2020 QLED lineup. It's also...

Samsung Q80T 4K QLED TV review: A 4K sensation

The entry-level to Samsung's full backlit array series for 2020, the Q80T is anything but "entry" - it's a 4K sensation. Here's why.

Outstanding 4K clarity ; First class HD SDR upscaling ; Fast gaming performance ; Superior OTS sound system

Occasional backlight blooming ; No Dolby Vision ; No Freeview Play

Outstanding picture clarity, crowd-pleasing dynamics and a gaming performance that’s second to none make this mid-range QLED screen a 4K sensation

Samsung Q80T 55in (QE55Q80T) TV review: The best-value 4K TV for next-gen gaming

Full-array local dimming, excellent HDR playback and HDMI 2.1 support make the Q80T QLED a cracking all-rounder for the money

Ultra-low input lag ; Great HDR presentation ; HDMI 2.1 for next-gen consoles

No Dolby Vision ; Mild dirty screen effect ; No Ultra Wide Viewing Angle layer

There’s very little to complain about with the Q80T. It’s a competent all-rounder and, now that it’s fallen so heavily in price, it’s the best 55in TV you can get for under £1,000. Of course, Dolby Vision support would be nice, but that’s not going to...
