Samsung 65-Inch Class QN90B Neo QLED TV Review

Fantastic contrast with visually perfect blacks and little to no light bloom ; Ideal white balance ; Hands-free voice assistants and Apple AirPlay 2 ; Solar-powered, rechargeable remote

Color and peak brightness aren't quite as strong as predecessor's ; Samsung's smart TV interface is still frustrating to navigate ; No Dolby Vision support

The Samsung QN90B’s mini LED backlight results in a bright picture with effectively perfect black levels, though brightness and color could be slightly better.

Samsung QN90B QLED Review (QN43QN90BAFXZA, QN50QN90BAFXZA, QN55QN90BAFXZA, QN65QN90BAFXZA, QN75QN90BAFXZA, QN85QN90BAFXZA)

The Samsung QN90B QLED is a high-end TV, and it's the successor to the Samsung QN90A QLED. It's part of Samsung's 2022 lineup of Neo QLED TVs, which combine quan...

Image remains accurate at an angle. Supports all three VRR formats. Completely judder-free from all sources. Upscales lower resolution content well. Fantastic peak brightness in HDR. Fast response time. Exceptional low input lag. Chroma 4:4:4 is...

Some noticeable stutter in slow-panning shots. Doesn't support Dolby Vision or DTS. Some dirty screen effect. Doesn't track the PQ EOTF properly; most scenes are brighter than they should be. Lower peak brightness and worse local dimming in 'Game' Mode.

The Samsung QN90B is an excellent TV for most uses. It's amazing for watching TV shows or sports in a bright room thanks to its high peak brightness and superb reflection handling. It delivers an impactful HDR experience in a dark room, thanks to its...

Samsung 43 QN90B QLED Review

The Samsung 43 QN90B QLED is a 43-inch TV that's popular to use as a PC gaming monitor. Unlike past years, Samsung has started to include gaming features on the ...

Displays wide color gamut. Low input lag. Large screen for multitasking. Highlights pop in HDR. High contrast and good local dimming. HDMI 2.1 bandwidth and VRR support. 144Hz max refresh rate in PC mode. Bright enough to fight glare. Fantastic...

Some motion blur. Text issues with 144Hz signals. Colors are inaccurate out of the box. Not all programs support BGR subpixel layout. Stand isn't adjustable. Narrow viewing angles. Tone mapping is off.

The Samsung 43QN90B is a good TV for most uses as a PC monitor. It performs best for gaming as it has a 144Hz refresh rate, variable refresh rate (VRR) support, and HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, making it fully compatible with the current-gen gaming consoles....

Samsung QN90B Neo QLED 4K Smart TV

The flagship QN90B ranks as Samsung's best-looking 4K LCD TV, although its convoluted interface gave us headaches.

Great picture and HDR ; All 120Hz HDMI ports ; Excellent color acuity and saturation ; New RF-harvesting solar remote

Pricey ; Doesn’t support Dolby Vision ; Interface requires too many clicks to get anywhere

Samsung’s best 4K UHD LCD TV offers a terrific HDR image, along with top-of-the-line HDMI ports and a remote that can be charged via RF harvesting, but the convoluted interface demands too many clicks.

Samsung QN90B Neo QLED TV (QN43QN90BAF) review

This small TV is loaded with big capabilities.

But it’s worth remembering that Samsung’s QN90B line isn’t a budget TV family —Samsung isn’t pretending it is, and you shouldn’t, either. These TVs are about giving you estimable performance for the dollars you do spend, and if that’s what you want —...

Samsung QN90B Neo QLED TV Review

Samsung's new 4K flagship Neo QLED TV is perfect for bright living rooms.

Incredibly bright ; Brilliantly showcases HDR ; Great for next-gen gaming

No Dolby Vision ; Noticeable light bloom ; Would benefit from calibration

If high-octane brightness is what you’re after, there are plenty of LCD/LED TVs on deck for 2022 from Sony, Samsung, LG, TCL, and Vizio. Many of these models will feature display technology similar to the QN90B’s. It might be worth your while to wait...

Samsung QE55QN90B

Another bright, colourful Neo QLED TV from Samsung, the QN90B has definite strengths and some unavoidable drawbacks such as blooming

Bright, colourful HDR images ; Zippy game performance ; Effective upscaling with good quality sources ; Wide viewing angles ; Well stocked for features

Some slight blooming ; Brightness can be overpowering ; Tizen interface can be sluggish

Another bright, colourful Neo QLED TV from Samsung, the QN90B has definite strengths and some unavoidable drawbacks such as blooming. Well-built and well specc’d, if you’re happy to miss out on Dolby Vision, this TV delivers spectacularly bright images...

Samsung QN90B (QE50QN90B) review

Can Samsung's Mini LED technology deliver with small TVs, too?

Impressive black levels ; Superb brightness ; Excellent game-friendly connectivity

Dimming system occasionally distracts ; Unhelpful operating system ; No Dolby Vision

Samsung’s Mini LED technology continues to deliver a class-leading LCD experience even at this relatively small screen size

Samsung QE43QN90B review

The 43-inch QN90B is a strong alternative to the new 42-inch OLEDs

Superbly bright and punchy ; Excellent detail and sharpness ; Great for gaming

Occasionally frustrating Tizen OS ; Disappointing sound ; Some backlight inconsistency

While it has limitations that are brought to the fore by its new OLED rivals, the 43-inch QN90B provides a bright and exciting performance
