Samsung The Sero Review (QN43LS05TAFXZA)

The Samsung The Sero is a decent 4k TV with a unique feature that allows you to watch vertically-filmed content on a big screen. The rotating IPS screen has bord...

Impressive HDR color gamut. Low input lag. Doesn't stutter much in low frame rate content. Can remove judder from all sources. Can rotate to portrait mode. Decent viewing angles. Good SDR peak brightness. Good response time.

No local dimming. Doesn't handle direct reflections well. No VRR support. Mediocre contrast ratio. Bad black uniformity. Mediocre HDR peak brightness.

The Samsung Sero is a decent TV for most uses. It has good visibility in bright rooms, decent viewing angles, and it upscales lower resolution content like cable TV and videos from social media sites well. It has a fast response time and low input lag,...

Review: Samsung The Sero | Your Own Instagram TV Samsung The Sero

A motorized TV screen that can be turned upside down with the push of a button! Is Samsung The Sero simply one of the most awesome TVs this year?

Samsung's innovative rotating screen is easy to connect to your smart phone, ensuring optimal viewing of vertical videos and app content.

The image panel is based on last year's Q60R, and must therefore do without some of the 2020 models' visual improvements.

A spinning TV is not just a fun party trick: in addition to being an entertaining and innovative TV, The Sero also has some practical benefits. The ability to view photos vertically is a welcome feature for anyone who is active on social media, uses...

Samsung Sero TV review

The rotating Samsung Sero TV is able to present both landscape and portrait content, meaning you can be watching Netflix one minute and scrolling through TikTok the next.

Only one like it 60W speakers The screen rotates!

No Ethernet Input issues Worse for iOS

Aimed at heavy social media users, this rotating TV is able to present both landscape and portrait content, meaning you can be watching Netflix one minute and scrolling through Twitter or TikTok the next. It isn't perfect, but Samsung deserves credit...

Samsung The Sero initial review: Turning TV on its head

It's a unique proposition, but there's a lot about The Sero that makes sense.

Rotating display ; 60W speakers ; All-in-one package

Can't change the display angle on the stand ; Only 43-inch size

The Sero is certainly a unique proposition and there's something appealing about being able to watch vertical content as it's supposed to be viewed. This won't appeal to everyone and there are compromises against a regular television, but The Sero will...

Samsung Sero review

Is Samsung's rotating TV Sero-ously impressive?

Rotating TVs are fun ; Good picture ; Impressive audio ; Eye-catching design

Requires a Samsung device to really shine ; Only 43 inches ; Portrait Mode pretty limited right now

An instantly likeable and very good QLED TV but you’ll need to be a social media-mad Samsung user to make it worth it

NOT YET!

The TV is still in the box. It is as big as me, I am a widow and had a stroke so am unable to set it up. I am waiting for someone to come and sort it out for me and show me how to use it. The earliest he can do is 21st May. AAAAggggghhhh. A long wait.
