I too had a problem with the previous model. It seems capacitors in the power unit went bad, that is what made it go off on its own. But no matter, Sears is replacing my unit with this model in a few days. Having 2 HDMI's... sweet! DVD's look pristine....

This tv is great! Good picture no problems with it. If those other people had problems with it, why didn't they just go back to sears to have it fixed? It would be back in a week! And if they could not fix it, they would replace it!
