I recently purchased this TV and I am constantly amazed at both the Sound and Video quality; the pixels seem to literally dance on the screen.

I've used this set for watching TV broadcasts (both DirecTV and DishTV) as well as for watching DVD's (upconverted to 720p).  With any input, the colors alway seem to be washed out.  I've tried various settings, but the results are always the same.
