Sony Bravia KDL-V32XBR1 HDTV

The Sony Bravia KDL-V32XBR1 offers some interesting, high-end features that help explain its high price ($2700 on 3/24/06). However, its image quality, though generally good, falls short of what you see on some less expensive LCD TVs.

Prominent, well-labeled inputs CableCard slot

So-so image quality on HDTV content Pricey

Sony BRAVIA KDL-V40XBR1 Flat Panel: First Look

This 40" LCD is actually the top dog in Sony's flat-panel kennel by virtue of its being in the vaunted XBR line. 1366x768 is heavy pixel density for a 40" integrated HDTV. This XBR ships with integrated CableCARD and Off-The-Air HD tuners, and of...

Definitely worth the investment, Best LCD Television around

From Agoraquest: Bought the Sony Bravia in January 2006 and have been very happy with my choice. People who have other brands of HD TV's and have seen this model at my home are also impressed by its picture and the set itself when it is turned off. It ...

Extremely sharp resolution during hi-definition TV programing. The clarity and color can be jaw-dropping.

Slow reaction to channel and input changes. No PIP. No Firewire connection.

Sony BRAVIA KDL-V40XBR1 40 in. HDTV LCD TV - Pricey, but worth it

One of the ongoing battles among tech nerds is the benefits of LCD versus Plasma HDTVs. Fans of plasma say they are a better picture while LCD aficionados says that LCDs last longer. But as technology improves, the lines will become blurred. Is this...
