A very impressive picture performance all-round, especially when it comes to motion and colour

For once, dodgy backlighting doesn’t entirely ruin a Sony five-star bid – Philips has helped out, too

Superb picture quality ; Freesat integrates nicely ; Neat and space-saving design ; 200Hz is very effective

Presets not the best ; Viewing angle a bit limited

Generally high quality sound & vision that was at the high end specification of the previous generation of Sony TV's.

Now an obsolete product so lacks a SMART, 3D upgrade.

Excellent picture and sound, fairly easy controls for a technophobe, highly reccomend the TV

the amount of connectors; three TV tuners; a rather good remote control; sleep timer and wake-up timer;

no updates available; bad sound quality; useless applicasts; playback of only a few video formats; channel switches are much too slow
