Sony Bravia KDL-32BX300 LCD HDTV First Impressions Review - Intro

The KDL-32BX300 takes Sony to an interesting new place: a price point of under $500 for a 32-inch HDTV. That makes this new model one of the cheaper 32-inch HDTVs out there. What your $500 gets you is a basic, but decent looking display. This display...

The KDL-32BX300 is a cheap TV and it shows. Priced at under $500, it has an extremely basic feature set, with only 720p support and no media or streaming features. But that's fine for many users: they care more about value for money than features they...

Sony Bravia KDL-32BX300

The Sony KDL-32BX300 ($429 MSRP) is a budget, 32-inch LCD television. How can you tell it's budget? Well, first there's the price, which is cheap for a Sony HDTV. Secondly, the resolution is limited to 720p, as opposed to the higher 1080p you'll find...

TVs in this price range tend to limit the frills. The Sony KDL-32BX300 has no USB port, and therefore no photo, audio, or video clip playback. With no ethernet or WiFi, there's no access to Sony's excellent selection of streaming video channels. The...

Sony KDL-32BX300

A scientific, in-depth analysis with side-by-side comparisons

The Sony KDL-32BX300 ($429 MSRP) performs above average for an entry-level HDTV. Sure, it’s only a 720p display and the frills are few and far between, but it fared rather well in our lab test: solid black levels and a good contrast ratio.

Sony KDL-32BX300 Review – 32-inch LCD HDTV

Some people have a distinct interest in buying an HDTV from a reputed manufacturer. And when it is a high definition TV from Sony, people just love to use it as a second option in the house. If you already have a feature-rich HDTV in your living room,...

This TV of course has good connectivity options. But along with that, a very interesting facility is provided which will allow you to control all the connected HD devices through a single remote. The Bravia Sync feature can include all the devices...

Sony Bravia KDL-32BX300 – no 1080p resolution

Sony Bravia KDL-32BX300 is meant for people who are looking for a small TV and don't really care about 1080p resolution. If you really want a small TV, the full HD resolution won't make any sense as small screens cannot exploit the benefit of the...

Same problem twice here too...what a waste of money

I've owned this TV from new about 2 years now. It was a good deal at the time, but looking back I'd rather of spent my money on something that doesn't require the same old firmware to be re-installed to keep it working properly. Ironically, this...

Price...probably nothing else

HDMI ports constantly fail; always requires re-installation firmware

Same Problem Twice with Same TV

I bought this TV in November 2010 and after 6 months lines began to flash across the top. It was still under warranty so Sony sent me a refurbished TV. Then 8 months went by and the exact same problem started again but now my whole screen is flashing...
