Sony BRAVIA KDS60R2000 - Rear-projection TVs

While the Sony KDS60R2000 rear-projection TV may not have the size of a flatscreen, it certainly boasts the image and connectivity chops at a sensible price.

Have owned it for 2 years

massive, affordable, no difference in picture quality to a plasma or lcd (except its much bigger)

I suppose the weight (52kg) ; Its hard to find a strong enough TV cabinet- it needs a support leg in the middle of it

We have owned this for a few months now n we simply love the pictures from this TV. We have a 5m x4m bedroon n we sit this on top of the cupboard directly in front of our bed giving us 4m from from face to the screen. n WOW.. what wonderful sensation...

crystal clear with life like coloursn pictures .Best value for money. 60" screen realism beats all smaller ones when watching movies.Try it!

None that I can think of except the remote is not back lit. but no big drama on this either.

"While onsite evaluation in showrooms revealed a more than competent amount of lumens, it's still nowhere close to the high levels put out by its flat rivals." Are you serious with this comment? I don't know anyone who owns these sets who can handle...

Superbly detailed, yet film-like picture, beats current SXRD projectors. Highly tweakable for different sources thanks to excellent picture processing options. Excellent CR and best black levels yet in a digital display.

Minor instances of SEE in bright white scenes at times. Depth may worries *some* flat panel junkies, but it's not that big an issue vs. the picture quality.

I've seen this TV @ JB Hi-Fi and it always surprises me that in every review I've read, no-one points out the limited viewing angles. I'm 6 foot tall and the TV was diplayed about 400mm off the floor and even that small angle that was created was...

We have had this tv for almost 6 months now and its the best thing i can see on the market for the money. the picture quality is amazing and most of our friends think its an LCD. its only about 30cms deep which is not bad considering that an LCD this...

size matters. HDMI. sharpness. value for money. future proof 1080p ; best quality that i can see. no ghosting or motion blurs

need sony shelf (not cheap) ; blacks not as deep as plasmas ; takes 1 min to start-up and reach full-brightness ; remote control not back-lit
