Outstanding contrast and depth of picture. Good color ; Good remote and PIP functions

Low light detail. Quality of picture from cable TV highly sensitive to the quality of the signal. Screen sits too low without stand and too high with the factory stand

I havn't seen any reviews posted on this site for this product. I am just wondering what others may think of this 43'' rear projection tv. I think it knocks the socks off of any other comparable unit in its class.

Sony = quality for the long term!! Over 4 years and NO problems.

Great TV

 

There are pros and cons for all TVs but if you can get a great price.... get this one. I had it set up and ready to go after connecting all of my connections. I've got S Video from my Laser Disk, component from XBox, Component from DVD and S Video from...

Good Sony Product

 

If your like me and don't have a big enough space for a 47 inch or bigger widescreen projection tv than this more than make up for it..

nice and compact, has 16:9 option for dvds,HD compatible

After several weeks of research and visiting all the stores, I was down to the Sony and the Hitachi 43" RP TV's.

Must have a sony

 

All of my home theater equipment is Sony with the exception of my laser disk player (Pioneer). I leaned towards Sony due to that one issue... However, the price on most Sony's were outrageous. I looked at some Hitachi's and Pioneers and Panasonics but...

Easy to set up. Looks very good. Easy to learn remote. Not heavy at all!

Satellite seems pixellated.

When my wife and I first toured what is now our current home, the first thing to catch my eye in the basement was a projection television. I knew that if we purchased this home there would also have to be a big screen purchase in my future! Here we are...

Great home theater television

 

All in all we are really happy with the KP-43HT20. The title for this review says it all.

Clear, bright, large picture. Able to view at close distances, even for a projection.

Overpriced, but essentially necessary tv stand needed for proper viewing height.

Update - 4 years later Nov 2005 - no burn ins - colours still good - but of course not LCD/Plasma in terms of brightness/vibrancy/thinness - extremely affordable now $1100 as obsolete. - good buy for the new ...

crisp picture for DVD. Vivid colours, sleek style, compact, no scan lines, HD ready

4:3 dimension, DRC jaggedness, costs, poor signal cable looks awful
