Sony KV-40XBR800 FD Trinitron WEGA

Let me just start off by saying that this tv has an aspect ratio of 4:3. the most practical reason to purchase this tv is if you plan to wait to buy an HD digital set top box, satelite system, or so on. This could be for many reasons: at this point...

Nice, Durable silver finish, with screen outline thats as shiny as glass (it looks really cool) ; Useful Fearures ; DVI-HDTV Input, with stereo audio input ; 2xComponent Video with stereo audio input HD Inputs ; 4xS and Composite A/V Inputs ; 2x30W SRS...

It weighs in excess of 300lbs thus making it the largest tube Sony ever manufactured for the public and it took two moovers an hour (and $200) to get it into my basement (although it is not wider than my standard 32" doors) ; It barely fits into the...

Best TV Ever Owned

We have been left in the dust technology wise in recent years. I like to wait until a technology is well developed and proven before jumping in (I never owned 8-track, only cassettes, and went VHS over Beta). We wanted to replace our family TV with a...

What a TV! We were looking for a new replacement and this is it.

This TV is awesome!

I couldn't be more pleased with this TV. The picture looks great in all video input modes, but suprise, suprise, looks best in 1080i/720p. The disadvantages are small compared to the overall picture. I highly recommend. 16:9 aspect ratio is awesome,...

Gorgeous picture, great on all inputs, 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i

Extremely heavy, slightly complicated to set up, still not that much HDTV content

Sony KV 36XBR800

I've been living with a 26" Mitsubishi set for the past 12 years, but when our local electronic store offered 24-month no-interest financing on any TV $299 and up, I figured it was time to upgrade. I originally planned on a Sony projection TV (46" -...

Very easy set up. Excellent sound. 2-year factory warranty.

Heavy. No geometry adjustments from the main menus except for tilt.
