Right at the very end of the TV year, Sony pitches in with a new high-end OLED. The Bravia KD-65AF9 delivers design, image and sound in the high-end class.

The Sony screen delivers masterful image quality, and invisible speakers you can really hear. With the upgraded smart solution added on, this is a near complete high-end TV.

The picture quality is very good, but you can say that about many of the competitors.

Sony KD-65AF9 hands on

Sony's just taken the wraps off its new Master Series TVs, the AF9 and ZF9 - and we've already had our hands on the AF9 OLED.

It's impossible to draw firm conclusions from manufacturer-controlled demonstrations at an event such as this. But on first acquaintance the AF9 is very impressive, and almost certainly a step up from the much-loved A1.
