DVD stopped working

 

This is a tv/dvd combo, 3 years old and the dvd has stopped working. I have hardly used the dvd and now I can't even switch to the DVD function. When I select the DVD function it totally freezes everything and I can't even turn the set off without...

Inbuilt DVD + Teac Warranty = Hopeless

 

Initially I was happy with my purchase. Then the DVD began intermittently working, sometimes it would load the disc and play it, other times it would not. I'm talking Region 4 shop purchased discs here, discs that work fine in my Playstation or laptop....

The DVD player does not work. Warranty service is attrocious.

Was good... until...

 

This TV was great. Fitted an external hard drive after figuring out how to format a large drive to FAT32. Every once in a while, the pic would go a bit funny, then vid/audio would go out of sync, & I would have to change channel & back again. Sometimes...

Easy to use. Can use external hard drive for USB recording (if drive correctly formatted). Reasonable sound quality (have had worse)

It dies. Unreliable.
