Terribly uneven backlighting

Looks good from the outside. Built-in DVD player. Reads DivX

Very noticeable backlight bleed from top and bottom edges. Looks terrible, especially when there is dark background present in those areas (like black bars in wide-screen movies). I returned the first one, thinking it was just a fluke, but a second one...
