Toshiba 47L7200U

Toshiba's very good looking L7200 3D LED HDTV line delivers accurate colors and nice, dark blacks. And you get some neat features, but backlight uniformity issues hold this series back from true greatness.

Beautiful design. Accurate colors. Good black levels. Wide viewing angles.

Patchy screen uniformity. Backlight seepage. Limited web apps.

A firmware update will add several features to the L7200U in the coming weeks, including support for three new Android apps: A/V Remote, Media Guide, and Send & Play (an app that lets you stream movies from your phone to the HDTV). It also will add...

Toshiba L7200U review: Toshiba L7200U

If you crave having the latest gadgetry built into your television, 2012 is a pretty good year. No, Toshiba's flagship L7200U LED doesn't have the gesture-controlled futurism of Samsung or the voice-activated fun of LG , but it does boast a couple of...

The Toshiba L7200U series LED TV has good video processing and its passive 3D system shows almost no crosstalk. The Web browser actually works fairly well, in part thanks to the included wireless QWERTY keyboard. The TV's well-stocked feature set also...

Poor shadow detail and contrast in dark areas leads to disappointing image quality for such an expensive TV. Color accuracy wasn't up to the competition, and uniformity suffered from brighter edges and visible backlight structure. Passive 3D showed...

Toshiba's L7200U LED TV comes loaded with features, but mediocre picture quality makes its high price tough to stomach.

Toshiba 47L7200U

The L7200U Cinema Series is Toshiba's top-of-the-line flagship for 2012. The 47-inch model is a 3D, Smart, edgelit-LED HDTV that does a lot for an MSRP of $1,899. Compare that to Samsung's 46-inch ES8000, which is over $1000 more expensive. The...

Great picture quality ; A classy glass-kissed design

Very limited internet content

The Toshiba 47L7200U (MSRP $1899) is an odd entry into 2012’s expansive array of 1080p, Smart, 3D HDTVs. Not because of what it does, but because of what it doesn’t do.

Consumer review (cnet.com)

"This TV is pure junk Parts are not available to fix it"

What ever happened to the consumer protection laws where the Manufacturing Companies are supposed to make replacement parts for the life of the Television which they claim is 10 years when really it is only 1 year with no replacement parts available at...

None I can think of!

It broke down after 1 year of use and the Main Board I need to repair it is not available for purchase. Save your money and buy a lower cost TV. This TV cost $1200 and it is a throw away TV when it breaks down!
