Toshiba 42WL58

Toshiba's 42WL58 does LCD technology proud, and it's a solid all-round performer if you've got cash to burn.

Bright colours but subtle tones were lost. Most screen modes cropped out too much of the image. Expensive. Swivel stand manually operated and only offers 15 degrees’ movement. Lack of audio presets makes audio adjustment fidgety.

Size (109 cm), matte screen finish is very important because it limits reflections even when TV is on, the menus are reasonably easy to navigate, very easy to set up. Nice picture, sharpness and brilliant sound. 5 yr WARRANTY!!!! (match that LG! lol)....

Good

I have the 32 inch version of this model but the comments would apply to both. A very stylish designed LCD screen, with good if not perfect resolution along with nice audio from the bottom mounted speakers. But you need to study the owners manual to...

Good looking, good resolution and few reflections. Nice audi from the bottom mounted speakers.

The remote needs a degree to use. After a year it is still not natural to use. Ours failed after 6 months but Toshiba replaced with new. No digital tuner.
