2 and not so happy

First one had a bad tuner and all TV & HD broadcsts were pixelated around edges (+funky remote). Second one has much better tuner but when hooking up to a PC at max res (1360x768) the picture quality is not usable no mater if I use DVI or VGA input....

Attractive cabinet, good input selection, HD Receiver built in. Some say it's a low cost TV but at $xxx there are numerous other choices for less

Poor picture quality on first set. Remote only works on "Bright" picture setting (although it starts working in Middle & Dark settings after an hour or so

great product

I have NO remote issues. the sound is pretty good, a little light on the base, but everything else is crystal clear. the "popping" that some people hear can be ovecome by changing the audio setting to "enable surround out".

excellent picture and audio quality. small footprint. many input sources. no dead pixels

product manual does not elaborate enough on the different video settings. I know 16:9 and 4:3. but what is "wide 1" wide 2". took a couple of movies of different aspect ratios to figure it all out ; UPS sucks, box was delivered very damaged, but...

Nice monitor

I use the monitor primarily for CAD, so I can't comment on smearing/ghosting, sound issues, the TV tuner or any input use other than the DVI.

PRICE!! Wow, that's a lot of viewable real estate for the money. Sharp looking unit, very stylish. No dead pixels. Very bright, good colors

Picture is okay... The screen, billed as HD, was less than I hoped for. ViewSonic specs say it's 23.5" H X 13.2" V at an optimal res of 1366 X 768. That works out to about 58.1 ppi. My 19" ViewSonic VP930b on the other hand, calcs out to 86.4 ppi....

Great product!

I upgraded to a graphics card that supported High Definition and thus enhanced my viewing experience. I enjoy playing xbox 360 and High Definition television service. Being a firefox user has its advantages [ctrl & + to increase font on webpages]. I...

going from watching all your shows on a 7 year old 17inch CRT... there are plenty of pros. Built in HD tuner, multiple inputs and outputs, and overall quality

At maximum resolution [1280x1024] it can be difficult to read from far away. However it can be adjusted with the use of accessibility featured in many applications. Navigating with remote can be a bit of a chore if you switch between inputs quite often

Follow-up

Calling customer service was a waste of time. I'm going to give this to my dad as a computer monitor and buy a real LCD t.v. (I hear Samsung's are good).

Cheap, picture is good, small footprint

The t.v. tuner sucks! The sound drops in and out on most channels, almost unwatchable. If I use the VCR as a tuner (t.v. set to channel 3), then sound is pretty good ; The remote sometime doesn't work, and stops working completely when the backlight is...

Great TV for MCE

I used this in my dorm room and now its in my apartment this is a great tv great display now i just have to get a 1080p tv for the ps3 and blu ray but for neweggs price you cant beat this monitor. REMOTE AND SOUND WORK FINE AND NEVER CUT OUT!

27 HD TV

I have owned the Viewsonic 27 HDTV for 9 months now. After reading some of the reviews below...it is obvious that some people expect this HDTV to be an analog device, a great sound solution, and a PC gaming monitor.....ie...something it was not...

Great HD picture for the money, reasonable monitor for general PC viewing on TV, stable product. Watching 720P and 1080i HD football and sports is amazing

none when used for an HD TV

ViewSonic 27" Widescreen LCD HDTV N2751W

They never even E-mailed me, so I am without my LCD tv, while it is being bounced from State to State. -- Choose another brand or buy local where you can return to vendor.

Good color

Audio went out after 1 month, Could not return to new-egg, had to send to View Sonic -- they have now had about 3 weeks, called and was told they had to ship to another location because did not have parts to repair
