The Vizio E series TVs with local dimming deliver very good picture quality for an affordable price. The image evinces deep black levels with little blooming, accurate color and great bright-room performance, and it provides for plenty of adjustments....

Dimmer highlights than some more expensive TVs; archaic software upgrade system; significant variation between models; poor sound quality; cheap-feeling remote.

If you're looking to maximize your TV dollar and don't care about 4K, it's tough to go wrong with the Vizio E series.

Not too shabby!

TV was great, but I had purchased a refurbished unit, company was a nightmare, sent me 3 broken units and took 3 months to sort out before I finally asked for a refund. No reflection on the actually TV.

-Great blacks, no shadowing when the picture goes from bright to dark. Bright colors -Sound was good in my medium sized room. -Menus easy to navigate. -Netflix button on remote very convenient.

-When watching cable with HDMI hook-up, slightly struggles with input that was not high resolution, blurred the faces made them look like they were glowing. -Had trouble accessing computer over the wireless network. Was slow to load file pages. -Stand...
