Vizio M65-EO review

Vizio's M65-EO offers some of the best dollar-for-dollar picture performance on the planet.

Excellent black levels ; Dazzling HDR color ; Impressive 4K resolution ; Chromecast streaming built-in ; Affordable

SmartCast TV interface is clunky ; No TV tuner ; Poor off-axis performance

For those who don’t mind a bit of clunk in the interface trunk, Vizio’s M65-EO offers dazzling picture performance for the money, ranking among the very best in its class.

Vizio M-Series (2017) review

The Vizio M series is our favorite midprice TV for 2017. If you want great picture quality but don't want to step up to an OLED TV at more than twice the price, this is the 2017 television to get.

The affordable Vizio M-Series has better overall picture quality than anything else at its price, and in some ways outperforms even more expensive TVs. It can handle both HDR10 and Dolby Vision high-dynamic-range formats. The Chromecast built-in system...

Not as bright as some competitors. No built-in tuner, so you can't watch over-the-air antenna broadcasts unless you attach a separate tuner. Mediocre external design and poor smart TV onscreen menus. Only one HDMI input is compatible with every 4K HDR...

The Vizio M-Series remains the best choice for mainstream budgets that prioritize image quality over everything else.

As a 4K, HDR-capable home theater display, the Vizio SmartCast M65-E0 is an excellent value, offering quality that rivals that of sets that sell for thousands more. The display is one of the best you'll find without jumping to technologies like OLED or...

Moderate price ; Excellent color and picture quality ; HDR support

No TV tuner for broadcast content ; Few local apps and smart features

The Vizio M-Series M65-E0 display looks great, with excellent color and and HDR support for a reasonable price.

VIZIO SmartCast M-Series XLED (M65-E0) review

Despite its lack of a tuner, VIZIO's M-Series M65-E0 is still a fantastic ‘TV'

Vibrant, colorful images ; Good upscaling from HD ; Great value

Limited and slow OS ; Requires a tuner for OTA TV ; Could be brighter...

If you're looking to buy the best-looking 65-inch TV for the least amount of money, there's no better option around than VIZIO's M65-E0.

Vizio M series review: Excellent image quality gets a lower price

The Vizio M series has a free tablet remote, support for both HDR formats, and excellent picture quality for an affordable price.

The affordable Vizio M series has excellent overall picture quality that competes well against even more expensive TVs. It can handle both high-dynamic-range formats. The remote is a fully functional Android tablet. The Google Cast system offers more...

Using the tablet for settings and streaming apps is often more of a hassle than traditional onscreen menus. No built-in tuner, so you can't watch over-the-air antenna broadcasts unless you attach a separate tuner.

Despite the inconvenience of its tablet-based menus and apps, the Vizio M series' excellent image quality and value make it a top choice for the price.
