Vizio M-Series review

Vizio has been around a while now, and though it started as a budget brand it has been making some small steps toward improving its image, and with the new M-Series the improvement is literal. The M-Series is inarguably the best-looking TV the company...

The Vizio M-Series M1d-A2R is an excellent value with great design and a snappy picture; it has excellent shadow detail, fairly deep black levels, and excellent processing; and its Smart TV access has been improved.

It doesn't have as deep a black level as a plasma; it suffers from a slight red push; it has a reflective screen; Yahoo apps aren't very slick; and the remote sensor isn't very responsive.

The Vizio M-Series offers a potent combination of excellent design, decent picture quality, and a pocket-friendly price.

"Great picture but out of control "FLASHLIGHTING"!"

CNet NEEDS to start including "Blooming", "Clouding", "Flashlighting" and whatever else different people call it, into their reviews. These TV's are attempting to compete with plasmas on their playing field of home theater, dark room screening. I was...

"Nice Television!"

I originally wrote a bad review for this television and I deleted because I found out that I was wrong. To start off: typically I am a verified purchaser as can be seen by almost all of my reviews but this time I purchased at Costco. The reason why is...

"High End TV without the High End Price"

The M-Series is the flagship of the Vizio fleet of TVs. I spent a lot of time trying to decide between the M551d-A2R 55-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Smart LED HDTV and the "step down" model E500d-A0 50-Inch 1080p 120Hz 3D Smart LED HDTV. The E-Series TV is a...

Knocked it out of the park!

The TV supports multiple(i believe 4) 3D modes and comes with 8 sets of non-powered, light weight, 3D glasses. My wife and I watched Prometheus in 3D on our new TV. Though the movie, Prometheus, is ..., watching it upon our new Vizio, in 3D, was quite...

Edge to edge, crystal clear and an easy to adjust (to taste) picture. Best part, I only spent $1,050. Vizio has hit a home run.

- Sluggish television response to remote. - Sluggish apps. - Television housing, back 'connection-port' panel, physically restricts fiber-optic cable connectivity.

Great new line of televisions. Amazing 3D!

I recently purchased the 65 inch Vizio M series, and after 2 months of use, I must say it is really wonderful. Below are some positives and negatives about the television. Appearance: This TV definitely has the WOW factor. The bezel is extremely slim...

Image is bright, crisp, and the 3D image looks perfect Sound is pretty good on this TV Very nice design Amazing Picture

Remote is very finicky. For some reason half the button presses wont respond or you have to hit the center of the button on the remote to get it to respond.

Great TV for the money or ortherwise

I bought this TV while looking for a Budget TV and found this one that blows most non budget TV's out of the water. The sound is not amazing but it will do, I hooked up speakers and viola! problem solved. The youtube app doest really work that well but...
