Vizio M551D-A2R

The Vizio M551D-A2R is a surprisingly stylish, affordable LED-backlit HDTV that sports tons of features, good picture quality, and out-of-the-box 3D for eight people.

Good all-around performance. Solid 3D. Generous feature set.

3D shows crosstalk when viewed too close or off-axis. Dark scenes can look slightly muddy.

If you want an affordable, 3D-capable HDTV, the LED-backlit Vizio M551D-A2R is hard to beat. Its $1,100 price tag puts it at the low end of 3D-capable HDTVs in its size class, and its generous feature set should satisfy your need for connectivity. You...

Vizio's M-Series TV is not just a pretty face

The Vizio M551d-A2R offers a potent combination of excellent design, decent picture quality, and a pocket-friendly price.

The ; is an excellent value with great design and a snappy picture; it has excellent shadow detail, fairly deep black levels, and excellent processing; and its Smart TV access has been improved.

It doesn't have as deep a black level as a plasma; it suffers from a slight red push; it has a reflective screen; Yahoo apps aren't very slick; and the remote sensor isn't very responsive.

The Vizio M-Series offers a potent combination of excellent design, decent picture quality, and a pocket-friendly price.

Best TV I've ever owned

Oh My Goodness did I get a good deal on this TV. I've never been so impressed with an electronic purchase. This is by far the best money I've ever spent on a video device. I couldn't be happier. Good Job Vizio team!

Amazing picture, good sound, lots of HDMI inputs (4), loads of built in apps that function better than on a fire stick and you can load your own (plex never looked so good)

It isn't free, doesn't make me coffee in the morning, and the 3d doesn't let me actually touch what's in the picture.
