Vizio M3D0SR review: Vizio M3D0SR

Vizio M3D0SR

The ; 's black levels are very good for an edge-lit LED-based LCD TV. Shadow detail and colors are solid, while the matte screen really helps reduce reflections. The TV piles on the features with passive 3D, a Bluetooth QWERTY remote, and onboard...

The M3D550SR's local dimming can cause blooming and turn completely off during fades to black. The colors were less accurate in darker areas, the screen lost uniformity at the corners, and it didn't handle 1080p/24 sources correctly. The 3D performance...

The Vizio M3D550SR is a solid edge-lit LED TV with excellent black levels, although its passive 3D and Smart Dimming feature create some issues.

"Buck Rogers Window!"

Never owned a big 3d TV and I'm happy this is my 1st only had it a couple days and played NBA2k12 in 3d and was just simply blown away. Got it at Costco on sale for $1100 so for the price and comparing to some other models it was a no brainer, sales...

3d, internet apps, multiple HDMI ports, easy set-up great overall picture and price.

Does get a little blurry when action speeds up but it's hardly noticeable, speakers could be better but if you don't own a stereo to hook up to this you should not be looking for a T.V. Wish it had internet browser but laptop connects fine.

"Great TV with some 3D issues"

Great TV but the 3D thing is a bit of a let down. Grant it I'm trying to use the 3D through an Xbox 360 which isn't a "3D ready device" per say but it does have games with 3D abilities on them. I just wish that you could turn on the 3D without having...

Great picture quality, great sound, and the Vizio Internet Apps work great.

The TV doesn't detect 3D from all sources.

"Huge Engineering Flaw Ruins TV"

I bought this TV at the end of December - the unit was shipped to the retailer December 14th and I picked it up on December 29th. The picture is fantastic, Vizio apps were a nice added touch, the internet hooked right up . . . and then I hooked my HDMI...

The picture quality is good, it could be a fantastic rival to Samsung with a timeless design

Vizio is an impossible company to navigate through when you have a problem, and this TV has a critical problem.

"Nice TV but has some real problems with "firmware""

I am not an avid TV review specialist. More like a basic consummer. Purchased this TV after looking at different reviews including CNET that gave a 'very good' average. Purchased for under $1,400.00 (Costco). Unpacked and found easy to assemble...

Excellent value, Good picture, full feature, high written specification.

Slow startup, poor sound, appears not 100% feature/firmware tested
